Tranquil outpost for walks and boating. Osisko Lake is a lake in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada. It is 3 km long, and 3 km wide. The downtown of Rouyn-Noranda is situated on its western shore. The lake is a recreational area, surrounded by trails and a bike path. The city hospital is also located on the lake's shore. Lac Osisko has been a polluted lake for decades, having been contaminated by tailings from Noranda Mines.[1]

Synagogue in Rouyn-Noranda, Québec. The Rouyn-Noranda Synagogue is a synagogue located in the city of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada. It was built in 1948 as the Beit Knesset Israel in Hebrew or Kneseth Israel Congregation in English by the Rouyn-Noranda Hebrew Congregation. A first wooden synagogue was built in 1932 before the same place. It was closed as a place of Jewish worship in 1972.[2]

Provincial park in Québec, Canada. Aiguebelle National Park is a provincial park in Quebec, Canada. It is located in western Quebec in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region some 50 km north-east of Rouyn-Noranda, 50 km west of Amos, Quebec, 100 km north west of Val-d'Or, Quebec, and about 50 km due west of Lake Hebecourt. The park has a surface area of 268,3 km2.

Its mission is to protect a representative sample of the clay belt of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region and the Abijévis hills.

The park includes a watershed line and thus extends over two watersheds: the basin of the Hudson Bay and that of the Atlantic. There are traces of ancient volcanic activity and several lakes on the faults. It is managed by the Quebec government by the Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (Society of outdoor facilities in Quebec) (SÉPAQ).[3]
