Arena in Lingfield, England. Lingfield Park Racecourse is a horse racing course at Lingfield in Surrey, United Kingdom. It is owned by the ARC Racing and Leisure Group, formerly Arena Leisure Plc.

Lingfield is best known as a winter all-weather flat-racing course; the track is Polytrack, rather than the usual turf found in the UK. There are only five other all-weather courses in the UK, the others being at Southwell, Kempton, Wolverhampton, Newcastle, and Chelmsford City (formerly Great Leighs Racecourse). Lingfield stages flat racing on turf in the summer and National Hunt races are also run on turf.

Lingfield Railway Station adjoins the course, served by trains from London to East Grinstead via Oxted.[1]

Zoo in England. The British Wildlife Centre is a zoo in the hamlet of Newchapel near Lingfield village in the county of Surrey, South East England.

The zoo was founded in 1997 by David Mills, who converted his dairy farm into a centre to celebrate British wildlife. Initially, the centre was only open to pre-booked groups but in 2000 it opened fully to the general public.[2]

Lingfield Wildlife Area is a 6.3-hectare Local Nature Reserve in Lingfield in Surrey. It is owned by Tandridge District Council and managed by the Lingfield Wildlife Area Committee.

This site adjoins Centenary Fields and both are managed by local volunteers. There is a wildlife area, copses, a pond, a wetland area, hedges, meadows and a skateboard ramp.

There is access from Saxbys Lane.[3]

Centenary Fields is a 4.2-hectare Local Nature Reserve in Lingfield in Surrey. It is owned by Lingfield Parish Council and managed by Lingfield Wildlife Area Committee.

This site, which is managed by local volunteers, has grassland, a wildflower meadow, allotments, a butterfly garden and a community orchard where a local variety of apple, the Lingfield Forge, is being grown.

There is access from Vicarage Road.[4]
