Nutfield Marshes

Nature reserve in England. Nutfield Marshes is a 62-hectare nature reserve near Nutfield in Surrey. It is managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust.
These former sand quarries along the Redhill Brook are now wetland nature reserves called The Moors, Spynes Mere, and Holmethorpe Lagoons. They provide habitats for many birds, with 144 species recorded in Holmethorp Lagoon. Spynes Mere has three lakes.
There is public access to the site apart from The Moors.[1]

Now owned by The Royal Alexandra and Albert School, Gatton Park comprises 250 acres (1.0 km2) of manor and parkland. The property is Grade II listed and is in part administered by the National Trust. The park is Grade II listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
Most of the park is closed to the public, but there are occasional open days.[2]

None of the castle buildings survive today, but a cave below the site, considered to be part of the castle, still exists. Known as "Baron's Cave", it is occasionally open to the public for tours.
The site of the castle is known as "Castle Grounds", and is a public park. At its entrance stands a folly, built in the 18th century, in the form a medieval castle gateway.[3]

Redhill Tunnel

Redhill Tunnel is a railway tunnel passing under the eastern area of Redhill in Surrey, Great Britain. It is on the 'Quarry Line' section of the Brighton Main Line and was constructed in 1899. The tunnel is 502 yards in length but abuts on to a covered way under the Redhill to Tonbridge Line and Redhill sidings, giving a total length of 649 yards. There is another Redhill Tunnel on the Midland Main Line south of Trent Junction.[4]
