Shopping centre in Cwmbran, Wales. Cwmbran Centre is a shopping centre, office and leisure complex in the town of Cwmbran, Torfaen, Wales. Formerly named Cwmbran Shopping, it was officially renamed Cwmbran Centre on 3 July 2017

As a New Town the town centre was planned in a single Master Plan along with the surrounding residential neighbourhoods. It is the second largest shopping centre in Wales.[1]

Multi-purpose stadium in Wales. Cwmbran Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium and sports complex in Cwmbran, Wales. The stadium holds 10,500 people and the main outdoor arena consists of an athletics track surrounding a 4g football pitch. It is the home ground of Cwmbran Town F.C.

The complex has an outdoor floodlit artificial playing surface for football and hockey.

Indoor facilities include a 25-metre swimming pool and one of the best indoor bowling facilities in Wales with 6 rinks.

The most recent investment in the centre is a state of the art Fitness Suite which includes:

Boating Lake Park

Park in Cwmbran, Wales. The Boating Lake Park is a large public park in Cwmbran, Torfaen in Wales. As its name suggests, the park features a boating lake. There are in fact two lakes, the larger being home to various wetland birds and the smaller being the actual boating one. Water area is 5 acres. The park is bordered by the Afon Llwyd on one side and a railway line on the other.

The park is quite expansive and includes a large adventure playground, a skate park and various sports pitches. The northern end of the park is in the Cwmbran suburb of Southville, whereas the southern end is in Llanyrafon.

The lake has just undergone a £250,000 refurbishment project which includes new trees and plants a marginal and bog area around the entire pond and a small island which will act as a refuge for wildlife. Improvements have also been made to the paths around the lake which include small areas of wooden decking and the new path which runs along the river. Work began on the improvements in January and were completed in June 2009.[3]

Art gallery in Cwmbran, Wales. Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre is located within a 19th-century Victorian manor house in Cwmbrân and is the regional centre for the applied arts in south-east Wales. It presents exhibitions promoting the applied arts, and extensive education and participation schemes of work to the local community.

The arts centre is a registered charity governed via a voluntary board of trustees and is a revenue-funded client of the Arts Council of Wales. It holds a service level agreement with the local Torfaen County Borough Council. Additional funding comes from Monmouthshire County Council, Cwmbrân Community Council, Croesyceiliog & Llanyrafon Community Council and independent trusts and foundations.[6]
