Waterlooville Baptist Church

Waterlooville Baptist Church is the Baptist place of worship serving the town of Waterlooville and surrounding suburban areas in the borough of Havant in Hampshire, southeast England. Built in 1966 to replace a "landmark" Victorian chapel on a different site, the new church building is a distinctive and "elegant" example of modern architecture.[1]

Hazleton Common

Hazleton Common, Horndean is a 17.5-hectare Local Nature Reserve in Horndean in Hampshire. It is owned and managed by Horndean Parish Council.

The common is mainly lowland heath, together with ponds and areas of woodland. Fauna include common lizards, adders, grass snake, slow worms, broad-bodied chaser dragonflies, green woodpeckers and partridges.[2]

The Forest of Bere is a mixed-use partially forested area in Hampshire immediately north of Fareham, Portsmouth and Roman Road, Havant and including a small part of the South Downs National Park.

The former uninterrupted forest is now a mix of woodland, open space, ponds, streams, heathland, farmland and downland interspersed by minor villages and the major settlements of Waterlooville (with Cowplain) and Eastleigh (with Chandlers Ford). There are a number of paths and bridleways for walking and cycling. In the southern portion, towards the area south of the Queen Elizabeth Country Park, conifer plantations were created in the twentieth century.[3]

Further education in Waterlooville, England. HSDC is a Further education college located in Waterlooville, Hampshire, England. The college was formed on 1 August 2017 following a merger of South Downs College and Havant Sixth Form College.

The College subsequently merged with Alton College on 1 March 2019, to become HSDC, composed of three campuses; HSDC Alton, HSDC Havant and HSDC South Downs. The College provision includes nearly 40 A Level subjects across the three campuses as well as vocational courses including T Levels (from September 2020), UAL and BTEC qualifications and apprenticeships delivered in partnership with leading local and national businesses.

The college has just under 7,500 students, with nearly 4,200 of these being full-time students, and 380 apprentices.[4]
