Globe Arena
Stadium in Morecambe, England. The Mazuma Stadium is a football stadium in Morecambe, Lancashire, England, which is the home of Morecambe F.C. The stadium replaced the old Morecambe F.C. stadium, Christie Park, which was Morecambe's home from 1921 to 2010. The stadium holds up to 6,476 supporters, with 2,173 seats available in the Main Stand, which runs the length of one side of the pitch. Opposite the Main Stand is an uncovered terrace with a capacity of 606, giving a similar feel to the ground as that at Christie Park. At either ends of the pitch are the home and away stands, with the home end holding a maximum of 2,234 supporters and the away end having a capacity of 1,389. In the north east corner of the stadium is the Tyson Fury Foundation, which is split between two floors. The building also houses a gym, which was purchased by Tyson Fury in August 2020.[1]

Morecambe Winter Gardens
Theatre in Morecambe, England. The Winter Gardens is a Grade II* listed building in Morecambe, Lancashire, England. Designed by architects Mangnall and Littlewood, with Frank Matcham as a consulting architect, it was originally built as the Victoria Pavilion Theatre in 1897 and was an extension to the existing Winter Gardens complex, which has since been demolished. The theatre closed to the public in 1977 and was listed the same year. It is considered to be one of Morecambe's most significant features, and a campaign for its restoration has been ongoing since 1986.[3]

St Christopher's Church
Church in Morecambe, England. St Christopher's Church is in Marine Road East, Bare, Morecambe, Lancashire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Lancaster and Morecambe, the archdeaconry of Lancaster, and the diocese of Blackburn. The church was built in 1933 to a design by Henry Paley of the Lancaster practice of Austin and Paley at a cost of £5,957. Its architectural style is Free Perpendicular. The architectural historian Nikolaus Pevsner commented that it is "pleasant to look at, but very conservative for its age". Its plan consists of a nave, north aisle, chancel, and northeast tower. A planned south aisle was never built. Most of the windows are in the style of the 16th century; those in the aisle are transomed. The stained glass includes the east window and the window at the east end of the chapel by Shrigley and Hunt dating from the 1930s. There is more 20th-century glass elsewhere in the church made by Abbott and Company of Lancaster. The two-manual pipe organ is the result of a rebuild in 1984 of an older organ by George Sixsmith.[4]

Stone Jetty
The Stone Jetty is a jetty in Morecambe, Lancashire, England. It was built by the North Western Railway in 1853 as a wharf and rail terminal for both passenger and cargo transport. The former station building with adjoining lighthouse stand on the jetty and are Grade II-listed. The jetty was resurfaced and partly rebuilt in the 1990s as part of coastal defence works, which was combined with the installation of public art and sculptures.[5]

Morecambe and Heysham War Memorial
The Morecambe and Heysham War Memorial stands on the Promenade at Morecambe, Lancashire, England.

The memorial remembers the 216 men who died in the First World War, the 180 in the Second World War and the single man who was killed in the Korean War.
The war memorial, made of bronze and granite, was completed in 1921 and designed by Thomas Hayton Mawson. A bronze lion sits atop a stepped base. On 20 January 1993 the monument was registered as a Grade II structure at British Listed Buildings.[9]
