New Brunswick Botanical Garden
Provincial park in Edmundston, New Brunswick. The New Brunswick Botanical Garden is a provincial park located in suburban Saint-Jacques neighbourhood in Edmundston, New Brunswick. Situated on 7 hectares next to the Madawaska River, it has more than 80,000 plants, making it the largest arboretum east of Montreal. The Botanical Garden opens in early May and is open daily for the summer season. In addition to the Botanical Gardens, the Province of New Brunswick also maintains an antique automobile museum on the same grounds. The Trans Canada Trail also passes beside by the park.[1]

Edmundston–Madawaska Bridge
Truss bridge. The Edmundston–Madawaska Bridge is an international bridge which connects the cities of Edmundston, New Brunswick, in Canada and Madawaska, Maine, in the United States, across the Saint John River. The bridge consists of four steel through truss spans, each 70.71 metres in length, for a total length of 287.12 metres, which carries a two lane open steel grid deck roadway.
The bridge was constructed in 1920, replacing a cable ferry, and opened in 1921. Its original asphalt and timber deck was replaced with the current steel grid deck in 1961.
Transport Canada estimated the bridge's traffic at 759,803 vehicles annually in 2006.
Effective October 27, 2017, the Edmundston-Madawaska Bridge weight restriction was reduced to 5 tons. Vehicles over 5 tons will be rerouted to the Fort Kent–Clair Border Crossing located 33 kilometres (21 mi) west or the Saint Leonard–Van Buren Bridge located 41 kilometres (25 mi) southeast of Edmundston.[2]
