Russkie Vorota
The Russian Gate in Anapa is a monument of Ottoman military architecture of the 18th century, the preserved gate of the Anapa fortress. At the top of the gate there is a slab with the inscription "Russian Gate 1854". On the supporting wall there is another plate with the inscription: "The fortress gate, built in 1783, is called Russian Gate in honor of the 25th anniversary of Anapa's liberation from the Turkish yoke in 1828".
