"U Mosta" Theatre is an Authorial Theatre in Perm, Russia.

The unique "mystical" theatre, "U Mosta" ("Near the Bridge" or "At the Bridge") has become a legend in the performance of shows based on the works of authors such as Gogol, Bulgakov, Dostoyevsky or Shakespeare (known for their mysticism). Associated with a world-famous troupe, awarded several times and regularly on tour (197 International Festivals and 45 Gand-Prix), the stage enjoys a good reputation. Opera in Perm, Russia. The Perm Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre is an opera and ballet theatre in the city of Perm in Russia. It is one of the oldest theatres in the country, and it has remained a major musical centre during its history, in which many significant art events have taken place. Its ballet troupe is one of the most popular in Russia.

The theatre is often named "Tchaikovsky's House", and all stage works of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, who was born in the region, are presented in its repertoire: 10 operas and 3 ballets. Festivals of Tchaikovsky's works were notable cultural events of the country.[2]

Mosque in Perm, Russia. The Perm Central Mosque was built in 1902 and 1903 in the Tatar district of Perm, Russia. Its construction was financed by the local Tatar merchant families. The striped green-and-white building with a tapering minaret was designed by Alexander Ozhegov. For some years it was the northernmost mosque in the world until superseded by the Nord Kamal Mosque in Norilsk.

After the Russian Revolution the mosque was shut down. The building was used for storing the Communist Party archives between 1940 and 1986. Religious activities in the mosque were resumed in 1990.[4]

Theatre in Perm, Russia. The Perm Academic Theatre-Theatre established in Perm as an amateur theater for working youths. Its first performance, the Battleship Potemkin, was held on March, 14th, 1927 on the site of the theater, which at that time had no constant base, but managed to stage 25 new plays a month with their own scenarios, costumes, etc. The theater's own building for one thousand spectators was built by local architects V.P. Davydenko and V.I. Lyutikova in 1982. The addition of 650 seats is planned.

Serious changes and a turn to professionalism occurred in 1967 and the landmark performance was "Tzar Fedor Ivanovich". Between 1967-2004 the theater was managed by the renowned actor, Ivan Timofeevich Bobylev. In 1990 there were more than 20 plays in the theater's repertoire and the theater was awarded many diplomas ofrom All-Russia, all-Union and international festivals.

Since 2004 the theater has been managed by Boris Milgram. The main director Vladimir Gurfinkel. The current repertoire comprises more than 25 performances.[7]

Sculpture. Permyak Salty Ears is a 2006 urban sculpture by Rustam Ismagilov in the city of Perm, Russia. The sculpture consists of two parts - the figure of the photographer and a round frame with large ears, in which those who wish to pose for a photograph can put their faces. This is similar to a photo stand-in.

The sculpture is located on the main street of the city of Perm, Komsomol Prospect, near the "Ural" hotel and is located on the "Perm Green Line" - a pedestrian route for tourists. The monument was unveiled on April 1, 2006.[10]

Art gallery in Perm, Russia. Perm Museum of Contemporary Art is an art gallery in Perm, Perm Krai, Russia, that officially opened in spring 2009. It holds changing exhibitions, festivals, artist talks, lectures, workshops, concerts and performances. It is housed in a former tram depot at 24 Gagarina Boulevard. Yelena Petrova is its director.

Perm Museum of Contemporary Art was devised by and is the legacy of its former founder, director and curator Marat Gelman. Gelman was sacked in June 2013 amid fallout over showing Vasily Slonov's exhibition Welcome! Sochi 2014 that satirised the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Before this, in 2010, the Financial Times praised PERMM as "one of the most spectacular galleries of modern art in Russia."

PERMM, Perm State Art Gallery and Perm Krai Museum are situated close to each other and form a museum complex. The museum was previously housed in the former Stalinist ferry building, known as the Perm River Station Hall on the banks of the Kama River but had to move as the building was unsafe.[11]
