Immaculate Conception Parish Church

Catholic church in Dasmariñas, Philippines. The Immaculate Conception Parish Church, also known as the Dasmariñas Church, is the first Catholic parish church in the city of Dasmariñas, province of Cavite, Philippines. The stone church was constructed right after the establishment of Dasmariñas as a separate parish in 1866. The church and convent was the site of bloodshed during the Battle of Perez Dasmariñas of the Philippine revolution against Spain. It was declared as an important historical structure by the National Historical Institute with the placing of a historical marker in 1986. On 7 December 2002 the Venerated and Miraculous Image of the Patroness of the City of Dasmariñas the Lady of Immaculate Conception was Episcopally Crowned by the then Bishop of Imus Most Rev.Manuel Sobreviñas D.D now the Bishop Emeritus of Imus and on the next day, 8 December 2002 on the Occasion of The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception the Parish Church was Dedicated to God by the now Archbishop of Manila Most Rev. Luis Antonio G. Tagle SthD. It celebrated its 150th Jubilee Year on July 5, 2017.[1]

Municipality in the Philippines. Tanza, officially the Municipality of Tanza, formerly known as Santa Cruz de Malabón, is a 1st class highly-urbanized municipality in the province of Cavite, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 312,116 people.  It has a land area of 95.59 square kilometres, making it the 3rd largest municipality in Cavite.

Tanza was awarded the "Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping" in 2011, 2012, 2018, 2019 and 2021 and "Seal of Good Local Governance" in 2016 by the Department of Interior and Local Government. The municipality was named 2014 most competitive in economic dynamism by National Competitiveness Council, 8th most populous municipality (2015 NSO Census) and 15th largest Municipality Revenue Earner based on 2016 Bureau of Local Government Finance Financial Report.

In the mid-19th century, the Secularization movement led by Father Pedro Pelaez was largely centered in Santa Cruz de Malabón.

Tanza is the home of Cavite Gateway Terminal, the first roll-on, roll-off barge terminal in the Philippines.[2]

Municipality in the Philippines. Noveleta, officially the Municipality of Noveleta, formerly known as Tierra Alta during the Spanish colonial era, is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Cavite, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 49,452 people. 

With the continuous expansion of Metro Manila, the municipality is now included in the Manila built-up area which reaches Lipa City in its southernmost part.[3]

The Diocesan Shrine of Saint Augustine, commonly known as the Parish of Santa Cruz, is a Roman Catholic Church in the municipality of Tanza, in the province of Cavite, Philippines. The shrine is under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Imus. The patron of the town is Saint Augustine of Hippo commonly known as "Tata Usting". The Holy Cross serves as the titular patron. The town patronal feast is celebrated annually every August 28.[4]
