Theme park in Zhuhai, China. Chimelong Ocean Kingdom is a theme park situated in Hengqin, Zhuhai, People's Republic of China. It was designed by PGAV Destinations. The park broke ground on 28 November 2010 and soft-opened on 28 January 2014. The grand opening occurred on 29 March that year. The first phase of the park cost RMB 10 billion to build. It is part of the Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort, which aims to become the "Orlando of China". According to TEA and AECOM, it is the 10th most visited theme park in the world in 2018, with 10.83 million visitors.

Among its attractions are a wide range of amusements rides, animal shows, as well as the world's largest oceanarium with a total of 48.75 million litres (10.72 million UK gal; 12.87 million US gal) of water. The theme park currently has five Guinness World Records under its name.[1]

The Port of Zhuhai is the port of the prefecture-level city of Zhuhai, on the west side of the Pearl River estuary in the Chinese province of Guangdong. The Port of Zhuhai is composed of seven main port areas: Gaolan, Wanshan, Jiuzhou, Xiangzhou, Tangjia, Hongwan and Doumen. The main areas are the Jiuzhou Port Area to the east of the city, and the Gaolan Port Area to the west. As of 2012, the port had 131 berths, 126 production berths, of which 17 were deep-water berths over 10,000DWT.

The Port had a total cargo throughput of 71,870,000 metric tons (70,730,000 long tons; 79,220,000 short tons) in 2012, and surpassed the 100,000,000 t (98,000,000 long tons; 110,000,000 short tons) mark in 2013.

The volume of port traffic and urban population make Zhuhai a medium-port metropolis according to the Southampton system of port-city classification.

The Jiujiang Port Area includes a container terminal and a terminal for high-speed ferries connecting Zhuhai with Shenzhen in mainland China and Hong Kong. It is also developing into a transport hub with regular coach services connecting the port with various cities west of the Pearl River such as Jiangmen and Shunde.

Ticketed passengers on flights going to and from Hong Kong International Airport may take ferries from the Zhuhai Ferry Terminal to the HKIA Skypier.[2]

Qianshan is a subdistrict of Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai, in Guangdong Province in the People's Republic of China. Formerly an important military base overseeing the Portuguese-administered enclave of Macao, it is now a Chinese manufacturing center, with particular emphasis on household appliances, airconditioners, and printing supplies.[3]

Town in China. Tanzhou is a town situated at the southern extremity of the prefecture-level city of Zhongshan, Guangdong province. The population of Tanzhou is of 219,943 residents. The total area of the town is 136 square kilometres. Tanzhou is within 10 km northwest of the border with Macau and borders Zhuhai to the south and east; it is thus much closer to central Zhuhai than central Zhongshan.[4]

The Posto Fronteiriço das Portas do Cerco is an immigration and customs checkpoint in the Portas do Cerco area in northern Macau, on its border with mainland China's Zhuhai.

It is one of two border crossings between Macau and mainland China, the other being the Lotus Bridge between Macao's Cotai and mainland China's Hengqin Island. Travellers entering Macau pass through immigration and customs on the ground floor of the building, while those departing Macau pass through customs and immigration on the first floor. Its counterpart in Zhuhai is Gongbei Port, through which travellers must pass before or after Portas do Cerco.[7]
