Xinjiang Museum
The Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Museum, or Xinjiang Museum, is located in Urumqi, Xinjiang, China. Its address is 581 Xibei Road, Urumqi.
The museum holds over 40,000 items of various cultural relics and specimens, including 381 national first-grade cultural relics (国家一级文物). In May 2008, the Xinjiang Museum was included in the first batch of the National first-grade museums of China.[1]

People's Park
Also known as: 乌鲁木齐人民公园
People's Park is an urban public park in the center of Ürümqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in northwestern China. People's Park and the nearby Hong Shan are very popular recreation areas for local residents. The Xinjiang Uyghur Museum was formerly located in the park.[2]

Hong Shan

Hong Shan, Hongshan or the Red Mountain is an inner city mountain in Ürümqi, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China. The mountain, sometimes referred to as a hill for its smaller size than a mountain in land form, is the symbolic scenic spot of Ürümqi. The local Ürümqi Television Station adopted the shape of Hong Shan in red as its logo.[4]

Bogeda Biosphere Reserve
Nature reserve. The Bogeda Biosphere Reserve is located in the eastern region of the Tianshan Mountains in China's Xinjiang Province. Local residents named the area the Sangong River Valley after one of the largest rivers in this region, which originates from Bogeda Peak. Altogether, five major landscapes are distributed throughout the northern and southern areas of the biosphere reserve: ice-snow belts, alpine and sub-alpine meadow belts, forest belts, steppe belts and sand desert dunes. The topography consists of a middle mountain belt, low mountain erosion hills and alluvial areas. Tianchi Lake is the only natural lake in the region and lies adjacent to the Sangong River.[6]

Xinshi District

Township in China. Xinshi District is one of 7 urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Wulumuqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Northwest China. It contains an area of 142 km2. According to the 2002 census, it has a population of 360,000. Diwopu Airport is in the township.
