Town in China. Xiaolan is a town situated at the northwest periphery of the city of Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, China.

The population of Xiaolan is approximately 333,000, of which 182,000 are registered hukou residents. The town spans an area of 71.47 square kilometres (27.59 sq mi).[1]

Sanxiang is a town situated at the southern periphery of the city of Zhongshan, Guangdong province. The population of Sanxiang is 33,000 permanent residents and an estimated 140,000 temporary residents. The total area of the town is 96 square kilometres. Sanxiang is much closer to Zhuhai than central Zhongshan.[2]

Xiqu Subdistrict, also known as West Subdistrict or Western Subdistrict is a subdistrict directly administered by the city of Zhongshan, Guangdong province, China. It covers 26.7 square kilometres and has a population of 60,000. It is a main industrial and commercial centre of the city. As of 2020, it has nine residential neighborhoods under its administration:

Shiqi Subdistrict, also known as Shiqiqu Subdistrict, or Tiecheng, is a subdistrict located in the center of Zhongshan city, covering an area of 22.72 square kilometres, and a population of about 227,200. The subdistrict administers 19 residential communities, and is home to major industrial and commercial activity.

Local people mainly speak the Shiqi dialect, a Yue dialect related to Standard Cantonese.[4]

Cuiheng is a village of the town of Nanlang, Zhongshan, Guangdong province. Cuiheng is best known as the birthplace of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the "Father of the Nation" of the Republic of China. Cuiheng is 17.6 kilometres southeast of downtown Zhongshan, and 26 km north of Macau. The whole village is designated a special economic district, as Cuiheng New Area.[6]

Nanqu Subdistrict, also known as South Subdistrict or Southern Subdistrict, is a subdistrict of the city of Zhongshan, Guangdong province, China, covering 48 square kilometres with a registered population of 21,500 and migrant population of 37,900. Many real estate companies and hotels have set up their businesses here, such as Vanke, Wing On and Agile Property.[7]
