Jan Sarkander Museum in Skoczów - a parish museum in Skoczów dedicated to the figure of St. John Sarkander, whose cult began to spread in Silesia and Moravia after his martyrdom in 1620.

The institution is located in the historic house from the 17th century adjacent to the Skoczów town hall where John Sarkander was born in 1576. Since 1890 there has been a chapel dedicated to the saint. The idea of creating a museum was born already before the Second World War, but it was realized only in November 1994 when the first floor rooms were opened for exhibition purposes. For almost an entire year, the institution operated under the auspices of the Gustaw Morcinek Museum. It did not become independent until September 1, 1995. The permanent exhibition of the museum presents the history of life and cult of the saint. Collected objects come mainly from local churches - the parish church in Skoczów and St Bartholomew in Grodziec Śląski. There are also temporary exhibitions unrelated to the figure of the saint, where you can see contemporary paintings, graphics, sculptures and photographs. The main exhibits include old church prints, paintings and sculptures of saints, a seventeenth-century confessional, a tabernacle, and a bas-relief by Jan Walach (1936).

The museum is the first point of the Sarkander's Walking Trail marked out in 1993. - The route leads through the most important places connected with the life and cult of the saint (town hall with a painting of the saint, street named after him, church of the Invention of the Holy Cross - the place of his baptism, chapel on Kaplicowka hill, parish church, house of the Servant Sisters of Debica, who are the patrons of the saint, and others).

The museum is owned by Roman Catholic Parish of St. Peter and Paul in Skoczów
