Tourist attraction in Sopot, Poland. Krzywy Domek is an unusually shaped building in Sopot, Poland.

Krzywy Domek was built in 2004. It is about 4,000 square meters in size and is part of the Rezydent shopping center.

It was designed by Szotyńscy & Zaleski, who were inspired by the fairytale illustrations and drawings of Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg. It can be entered from either Monte Cassino or Morska Streets.[1]

Iconic lighthouse with scenic views. The Sopot Lighthouse is a navigation facility on the Polish Baltic coast, located in Sopot. It was built in 1903–04 as a part of the Balneological Institute. The extent of its focal length of the light has since been reduced to 7 nautical miles, which, according to existing criteria, no longer formally makes it a lighthouse, although it is still called so. It is open to visitors.[3]

Tourist attraction in Poland. The Sopot Pier is the pier in the city of Sopot, Poland on the Gdańsk Bay, built as a pleasure pier and as a mooring point for cruise boats. It first opened in 1827, and at 511.5 metres, the pier is the longest wooden pier in Europe. It stretches into the sea from the middle of Sopot beach which is a popular venue for recreation and health walks or public entertainment events, and it also serves as a mooring point for cruise boats and water taxis. It is also an excellent point for observing the World Sailing Championship, the Baltic Windsurfing Cup and the Sopot Triathlon taking place on the bay. Sopot pier consists of 2 parts: the famous wooden walking jetty and the Spa Square on land, where concerts and festivities are organised.

In contrast, Southend Pier, the longest pier in Europe is 2,158 metres long but constructed primarily of iron, unlike the wooden Sopot Pier.[4]
