Siewierz Castle
Also known as: Zamek biskupi w Siewierzu
Castle of Bishops in Siewierz - a castle formally housing castellans who raised the castle in the thirteenth century. The stronghold formerly fortified a hamlet in the area, which can be traced back to the origins of the Church of St. John the Baptist; now located close to the National Road No. 78 - for rapid travel to Katowice. The names of the first castellans were Jaks and Wawrzyniec. The castle is located in Siewierz, Silesian Voivodeship in Poland.[1]

Kościół św. Macieja Apostoła
Church of St. Matthias the Apostle - a Roman Catholic temple located in Siewierz in Baroque-Classical style. It belongs to the parish of St. Matthias the Apostle.
The church was built in the first half of the 15th century: Piotr Gembicki in 1647-1657 and Kajetan Sołtyk in 1782-1784. The temple is surrounded by an 18th century wall with a prominent bishop's gate.
