New Jewish cemetery in Bedzin - a Jewish cemetery in Bedzin located on the northern slope of Castle Mountain at Podzamcze Street.

There were three Jewish cemeteries in Będzin, of which only the Jewish cemetery on Góra Zamkowa (Castle Hill), called the new Jewish cemetery, survived. It was established in 1831 due to the outbreak of cholera in Będzin in July of that year, when the old Jewish cemetery in Zawal turned out to be too small to accommodate all the bodies. The land for the cemetery was bought from the inhabitants of the town for 300 guilders.

In the area of 0,5 ha about 250 matzevot have survived and about 550 broken or heavily damaged. The oldest gravestone dates back to 1831. There are Hebrew and Yiddish inscriptions on matzevot. Now the area of the cemetery is neglected, overgrown by a forest. In the middle of the cemetery there are foundations of an ohel, most probably of Rabbi Baruch Hercygier (according to another, uncertain hypothesis of Rabbi Jakub Natan) and remains of a stone wall of a fence. A matzeva of Jakub Natan (with a carved eagle of the Republic of Poland) is today in the Zagłębie Museum in Będzin.

The cemetery was in use until the end of 1870s. During World War II it was devastated by Germans. A reconstructed gate leads to the cemetery.
