Magma Arte & Congresos is an architectural complex located in Adeje.

Magma Arte & Congresos is a multidisciplinary building capable of being used as a conference or convention centre, and also as a venue for cultural activities such as exhibitions, classical music concerts, theatre and opera. This versatility is made possible not only by the different spaces it integrates, but also by the fact that its design offers the possibility of subdividing its rooms by means of movable panels to adjust to the precise needs that each event may require. The complex was officially inaugurated by the King and Queen of Spain on 22nd November 2005.

Monumento Natural de la Caldera del Rey

Monumento Natural de la Caldera del Rey

The natural monument of the Caldera del Rey constitutes a geomorphological element of great singularity, being one of the three best samples of phreatomagmatic-explosive volcanism in Tenerife. It is a large caldera that was created when the magma came into contact with the water, thus favouring the explosiveness of the eruption due to the release of gases produced. Most of this natural monument is dominated by sálic materials, although in its northernmost area there are ancient basaltic materials that belong to the Adeje Massif. With an extension of 108.7 hectares, it is located in the southern municipality of Adeje.

In spite of the fact that the height it reaches is not very great, the set leaves a magnificent volcanic stamp and is declared on June 19, 1990, like natural place of interest of the Caldera del Rey and reclassified to its present category of natural monument, on December 19, 1994.
