Marina in Spain. The Port of Los Cristianos is a port of the Atlantic Ocean located in the town of Los Cristianos, in the municipality of Arona on the island of Tenerife. It is administered by the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is the port with the highest passenger and vehicle traffic in the Canary Islands, in 2007 it had 1,829,579 passengers, and 238,836 passengers.

The port area of Los Cristianos also occupies the first place in Spain in terms of passenger traffic thanks to its links with the ports of San Sebastián de La Gomera, La Estaca in El Hierro and Santa Cruz de La Palma.[1]

Monumento Natural de la Montaña de Guaza

The Montaña de Guaza Natural Monument is a protected area located in the municipality of Arona, in the south of the island of Tenerife. Declared a Natural Site of National Interest in 1987, in 1994 it was reclassified as a Natural Monument.

The protected area covers 725.7 hectares and consists mainly of the Guaza Mountain, one of the most representative exogenous volcanic domes of the island and the lava flows derived from its eruption,

It is bordered to the west by the tourist town of Los Cristianos, to the east by the village of Guaza and the Palm-Mar housing development, to the north by the road that connects Los Cristianos with Guaza and to the south by the sea.

Pre-Hispanic remains have been found here in the form of caves, remains of ancient huts and burial sites.

The age of this natural monument has been found to be a maximum of 3.5 million years old and a minimum of 0.67 million years old.
