Kvernes Church

Kvernes Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Averøy Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Kvernes on the southeastern coast of the island of Averøya. It is the church for the Kvernes parish which is part of the Ytre Nordmøre prosti in the Diocese of Møre. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1893 by the architect A.K. Thoresen from Kristiansund. The church seats about 350 people.[1]

Church in Bremsnes, Norway. Bremsnes Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Averøy Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Bremsnes on the eastern coast of the island of Averøya, just west of the town of Kristiansund. It is the church for the Bremsnes parish which is part of the Ytre Nordmøre prosti in the Diocese of Møre. The white, wooden church was built in a cruciform style in 1771 by an unknown architect. The church seats about 350 people.[2]
Stavnes Lighthouse

Lighthouse in Norway. Stavnes Lighthouse or Stavneset Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse in Averøy Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The lighthouse sits on the Stavneset peninsula on the northeastern coast of the island Averøya, along the Bremsnesfjorden. The lighthouse was built to mark the entrance to the fjord, which is near the port of the city of Kristiansund, a few kilometres away.
The lighthouse was originally built in 1842 and it was rebuilt in 1894. The lighthouse was automated in 1976. The light sits at an elevation of 22 metres (72 ft) above sea level and it emits a white, red, or green light (depending on direction) occulting in groups of three every 10 seconds. The light burns from 16 July until 21 May every year, but it does not burn in the summer due to the midnight sun. The lighthouse is painted white with a red top.[3]

Kornstad Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Averøy Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Kornstad on the western coast of the island of Averøya, along the Kornstadfjorden. It is the church for the Kornstad parish which is part of the Ytre Nordmøre prosti in the Diocese of Møre. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1871 using plans by the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. The church seats about 350 people.[4]

Lake in Norway. Storvatnet is the biggest lake on Averøya island in Norway. It is located between the small urban areas of Bådalen and Bruhagen. Storvatnet has an area of 0,76 km2 and its maximum width/length is 1,2 by 1,1 kilometres. Storvatnet is a drinking water reservoir.[5]

Village in Norway. Kårvåg is a village in Averøy Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located on the west side of the island of Averøya near the east end of the Atlanterhavsveien road. The village of Kornstad lies to the south and the village of Langøyneset is to the north.
The 0.33-square-kilometre (82-acre) village has a population (2018) of 337 and a population density of 1,021 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,640/sq mi).[6]
