Mountain in Norway. Askøyfjellet or Kolbeinsvarden is a mountain in the municipality of Askøy in Vestland county, Norway. The 231-metre tall mountain lies near the southeastern coast of the island of Askøy, just north of Kleppestø. The mountain is traditionally considered to be one of De syv fjell surrounding the city of Bergen.[1]

It is located in the village of Ask, on the eastern coast of the island of Askøy. It is the church for the Ask parish which is part of the Vesthordland prosti in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1908 using plans drawn up by the architect Hartvig Sverdrup Eckhoff. The church seats about 275 people.[2]

The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 2017 using plans drawn up by the architectural firm Tippetue arkitekter from Bergen. The church seats about 500 people.[3]
