Old Town Hall
Also known as: Altes Rathaus
The Old Town Hall stands on the market square in the center of the town of Rheinberg on the Lower Rhine in North Rhine-Westphalia. The Gothic brick building was built in 1449 with a pointed tower dome and battlement frieze. It is one of the oldest town halls in the Lower Rhine region.
The Old Town Hall extends over three floors. It is equipped with an octagonal stair tower that ends in a pointed onion tower. In 1727 it was extended with a market bell in the town hall tower, the Botteragnes. This is preserved to this day and is now housed in the townhouse opposite. A roof gallery was still present until 1853. The council chamber has historic leaded windows.
The Old Town Hall was frequently renovated and rebuilt. Such measures took place in 1638-1642, 1790, 1853-1857, 1879-1882 and in the middle of the 19th century. It was used, among other things, as an administrative building, a meat bank, a meeting and festival hall, but also as a prison and a fire station. Most recently - until March 2014 - it housed, among others, the Youth Welfare Office of the city of Rheinberg. With the relocation of this office, its use as an administrative building ended, so that it can now be put to other uses. Before that, a comprehensive refurbishment is planned.
In October 1985, it was added to the city's list of monuments and registered as an architectural monument with the number 74.

Sankt Peter
The Catholic parish church of St. Peter stands in the center of the town of Rheinberg, east of the market square, on the Lower Rhine in the district of Wesel in North Rhine-Westphalia. Its history dates back to the beginning of the 12th century, and the present Gothic-influenced building was erected at the end of the same. The sacred building, dedicated to St. Peter, belongs to the Xanten deanery in the Münster diocese.

Alte Kellnerei
The Alte Kellnerei is the only surviving building of the former Electoral Cologne and Electorate of Rheinberg Castle in the North Rhine-Westphalian town of Rheinberg on the Lower Rhine. It was built in 1573 as a farm building, largely destroyed during a war in 1598 and rebuilt in 1627. The functionality of the Alte Kellerei varied from time to time. Today it is a listed building and is located north of the city center.

The Gate of the Dead is a war memorial and monument east of the city center of Rheinberg, near the market square, on the Lower Rhine in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is located on the old rampart of the former city fortifications on the Rhine meadows. It stands out because of its unusual shape and its exceptional size in relation to the city of Rheinberg, which has about 31,200 inhabitants.
