Archeological site on a peaceful hilltop. Monte d'Accoddi is a Neolithic archaeological site in northern Sardinia, located in the territory of Sassari. The site consists of a massive raised stone platform thought to have been an altar. It was constructed by the Ozieri culture or earlier, with the oldest parts dated to around 4,000–3,650 BC.[2]

The Antiquarium Turritano is an archaeological museum in Porto Torres, Sardinia, Italy. The museum was inaugurated in 1984, and since 2014 has been managed by the Italian Ministry of Culture.

The exhibition is divided into two parts: one is dedicated to statuary and underwater material the other to materials from the necropolis unearthed in the urban area. The first part includes baths, the marble items put together by Emilio Paglietti in the late 19th and early 20th century.[4]

The Church of the Blessed Virgin of the Consolata is a religious building located in Porto Torres.

Consecrated to Catholic worship, it is the seat of the parish of the same name and part of the archdiocese of Sassari. It was built in the 19th century in the Neoclassical style, designed by architect Giuseppe Cominotti at the behest of Archbishop Carlo Tommaso Arnosio of Sassari. The foundation stone was laid on February 22, 1826, and, on December 30, 1827, the Turritan archbishop consecrated the church in the presence of the Civic Magistrate of Sassari. It is one of the city's historic places of worship along with the Basilica of San Gavino.

The Church of the Blessed Virgin of the Consolata is among the monuments enhanced by the Open Monuments project.
