Payrsberg
Castel Bavaro is a castle located west of the village of Nalles, in the province of Bolzano, on the road to Sirmiano.
The building is mostly in ruins. The keep, which gives an idea of how massive it was, remains standing. Built by the Payr (who changed the name from here to Payrsberg) in 1220, it changed hands to a branch of the Boymonts, who expanded the castle in the 16th century.
A fire - traces of which can be seen in the only remaining swallow - severely damaged it in 1600.
Schwanburg - Castel del Cigno
The Swan Castle is located in the town of Nalles, in the province of Bolzano.
