Castillo de San Buenaventura
Castle in Spain. Castillo de San Buenaventura is a defense tower located in Caleta de Fuste, a small town on the island of Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, Spain. It is also known as "Castillo de Caleta de Fuste", and the tower was recognized as historic-artistic monument in 1949.[1]
Punta Jandía Lighthouse

Lighthouse in Spain. The Punta Jandía Lighthouse is an active lighthouse on the Canary island of Fuerteventura. The name derives from its location on the Punta de Jandía, at the end of the much larger Jandía peninsula, which forms the south west part of the island.
It is sometimes confused with the more recent Morro Jable lighthouse, which is also on the Jandía peninsula, but lies 22 km (14 mi) to the east, near to the town of Morro Jable.[2]

Tostón Lighthouse

Lighthouse in Spain. The Tostón Lighthouse or El Cotillo Lighthouse is an active lighthouse on the Canary island of Fuerteventura. The lighthouse is situated on the northwestern coast of the island near to the village of El Cotillo, in the municipality of La Oliva. In conjunction with the lights at Pechiguera and Punta Martiño, it marks the narrow La Bocayna strait that separates Fuerteventura from the adjacent island of Lanzarote.[4]
Torre del Tostón

Fortress in Spain. Defense tower “Torre del Tostón” is located in the coastal town of el Cotillo, which forms part of the municipality of la Oliva, Fuerteventura, Spain. This defense tower was recognized as historic-artistic monument in 1949. Nowadays, famous local artists use Torre del Tostón as exhibition room, and it's one of the island's main tourist destinations, including as viewpoint.[5]
Villa Winter

Villa Winter is a villa situated in a remote location of the southwestern part of the island of Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, near the village of Cofete on the Jandía peninsula. The villa was designed and built by Gustav Winter, a reclusive German engineer, born in 1893 in the Black Forest region of Germany. The villa has two floors and a basement, a balcony in the front, and a tower in the northeastern corner, with a 360-degree view.[6]

Lighthouse in Puerto del Rosario. The Puerto del Rosario Lighthouse also known as the Punta Gaviota Lighthouse is a modern active lighthouse on the Canary island of Fuerteventura. It is located in an industrial area at the north-eastern end of the town of Puerto del Rosario, the capital and major port of the island in the Province of Las Palmas.[7]
Montaña de Tindaya
Mountain in Spain. The Montaña de Tindaya is a mountain in Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa. It was considered a sacred place by the pre-colonial local population, and is also known as the Sacred Mountain today.
The mountain is the proposed site of Monument to Tolerance, an artwork conceived by the sculptor Eduardo Chillida (1924–2002), that would involve the excavation a large artificial cave. Local environmentalists objected to the project. As of 2019, construction work on the site had not started.[8]
