Page County Courthouse
The Page County Courthouse in Clarinda, Iowa, United States, was built in 1887. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 as a part of the County Courthouses in Iowa Thematic Resource. The courthouse is the fourth building the county has used for court functions and county administration.[1]

Clarinda Carnegie Library
Building. The Clarinda Carnegie Library, now known as the Clarinda Carnegie Art Museum, is a historic building located in Clarinda, Iowa, United States. The Clarinda Public Library was organized in 1905. The library board applied for a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York for $15,000 on February 21, 1907. W.W. Welch was the architect of the Carnegie library building that was dedicated on April 15, 1909. In time the building became too small. The Lied Foundation of Las Vegas donated $1 million towards a new facility, and a special election held in October 2002 allowed the city to borrow the same amount for a new building. Groundbreaking for the new building took place on May 28, 2003, and the new Lied Public Library was opened on October 11, 2004. The old library building has been transformed into an art museum, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.[2]
W.T.S. White House and Carriage House
Building complex. The W.T.S. White House and Carriage House are historic buildings located in Clarinda, Iowa, United States. White created his fortune as president of the Clarinda Poultry Butter and Egg Company. He hired local architect William W. Welch to design his house. It and the carriage house were completed in 1906, and White moved to Chicago the following year. He sold the property to A.U. and Agnes Hunt for $8,000. The house and carriage house were listed together on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. Both structures are Colonial Revival in style. The 2½-story frame house features Tuscan columns on the front porch, dentil cornice, and diamond lights in the second floor windows. The two-story carriage house measures 25 by 30 feet, and is located behind the main house. It originally housed a horse and buggy, and has been transformed into an automobile garage.[3]
William P. Hepburn House
The William P. Hepburn House is a historic house and National Historic Landmark in Clarinda, Iowa. It was home to United States Congressman William P. Hepburn from about 1867 until his death. Hepburn most significantly introduced the Hepburn Act of 1906, which gave the Federal government the power to set railroad rates, and was an important precedent in Federal regulation of private industry. The house was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976. It is a private residence, not generally open to the public.[4]
