La Grande Poste, Algiers
The Algiers Central Post Office, is an office building for postal services located at Alger Centre municipality in Algiers, Algeria. It was designed by architect Jules Voinot and Marius Toudoire. and was constructed in 1910. It is Algeria's largest post office building, In 2015, the state turned it into a museum.[1]

Pope Pius IX granted two Pontifical decrees towards the shrine on the same day in 15 April 1876:
- The first decree invoked to canonically crown the venerated Marian image enshrined within. The rite of coronation was executed by the Archbishop of Carthage Charles Lavigerie on 30 April 1876.
- The second decree which raised the sanctuary to the status of Basilica based on an “immemorial custom”. (Pope Benedict XV later regulated to limit these privileges in 1918 to Papal edicts unless an ancient custom already refers to a building as a “Basilica”.

Martyrs' Memorial, Algiers

Iconic monument honoring independence. The Maqam Echahid is a concrete monument commemorating the Algerian War. The monument was opened in 1982, on the 20th anniversary of Algeria's independence. It is fashioned in the shape of three standing palm leaves, which shelter the "Eternal Flame" under it. At the edge of each palm leaf is a statue of a soldier representing a stage of Algeria's struggle for independence.[3]

Mosque in Oran, Algeria. The Hassan Pasha Mosque, also referred to as the Pasha Mosque or the Grand Mosque, is a mosque located in Oran, Algeria. It was built in 1796 by order of Baba Hassan, Pasha of Algiers, in memory of the expulsion of the Spanish. During the French Invasion of Algiers in 1830, French soldiers would occupy the mosque during their invasion of Algeria as their living-quarters. 5 years after the French Invasion, in 1835, the building was established as a mosque and renovated three decades later. In 1952, the mosque was listed as a historic monument. Since 2010, this historic monument has been closed to the public.[6]

Sidi Rached Viaduct, Constantine
The Sidi Rached Viaduct, The Sidi Rached bridge is a road viaduct that crosses the Rhummel gorges and connects the Coudiat district to Constantine Train station. It was built in Constantine in French Algeria, between 1908 and 1912, by the engineer Aubin Eyraud, with the help of Paul Séjourné who designed the hangers and finished the construction. It was the tallest Concrete bridge in the world when it was built until.
Its length is 447 meters with 27 arches including one of 70 meters, the highest culminating at 107 meters. This was Aubin Eyraud's last work of art before he entered Oxford University as a professor. It was initiated by the then mayor Émile Morinaud, in the administrative framework of the department of Constantine at the time. It was inaugurated in 1912.[10]
