Nikolaikirche is a church building in the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Siegen, whose history dates back to the 13th century. The church stands on the Siegberg, the settlement core of the medieval old town. It gets its architectural peculiarity from its hexagonal ground plan; the nave is the only European hall hexagon north of the Alps. The steeple of the Nikolaikirche bears the crown, the symbol of the city of Siegen, a forged and gilded crown with a diameter of over two meters from the 17th century. As the tallest building on the Siegberg, the church tower, 53 meters high and painted in a striking red and white, dominates the silhouette of the city. The church gained international fame through its church treasure with a silver baptismal bowl from the 16th century. Since the Reformation, the Nikolaikirche has been a Protestant house of worship, and since 1580 it has been Siegen's Protestant Reformed parish church. Below the church are the Siegen Town Hall and the market square.

Haardter Kirche is a Protestant church in the Weidenau district of Siegen.

It was built in 1883 at its present location, after the groundbreaking ceremony on March 25, 1882. The consecration of the church dates from October 31, 1883. A building originally planned on the "Haardter Köpfchen" - a former Hauberg site - could not be realized before. The largest church in southern Westphalia incurred construction costs of 160,000 marks.

The Haardt church was also heavily damaged during World War II. Although there were no direct bomb hits, the air pressure from nearby detonations and artillery fire caused considerable damage. After the war, the church was repaired, so that a festive service could be held in it again in 1951.

The current seating capacity in the nave and galleries is 874.

Between the mountain and the neighboring 346 m high Wellersberg, the L562 or Freudenberger Straße passes by, connecting Freudenberg with Siegen.
