Museum in Italy. The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto is a museum centre in the Italian province of Trento. The main site is in Rovereto, and contains mostly modern and contemporary artworks, including works from renowned Giorgio Morandi, Giorgio de Chirico, Antonio Rotta, Felice Casorati, Carlo Carrà, and Fortunato Depero. Fortunato Depero's house in Rovereto is also part of the Museum.

The permanent collection contains more than 15,000 artworks, including paintings, drawings, engravings, and sculptures.[1]

The Biblioteca Civica Girolamo Tartarotti is the public library of Rovereto located on Corso Angelo Bettini #43, and forms part of the modern cultural center, including the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto or MART, built adjacent to the 18th-century Palazzo Annona in the town of Rovereto, region of Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy.[2]

In the 1800s, when the Austro-Hungarian Empire controlled the territories of the upper Adige valley in northern Italy, a tobacco plant was built in the town of Borgo Sacco, now part of the city of Rovereto. An earlier name for this tobacco factory was Imperia Regia Manifattura d'Austria-Ungheria.[3]

The Italian War History Museum in Rovereto is located in the 15th-century castle of Rovereto, the only Venetian fortress in Trentino.

In time, the museum moved on to include among its collections material pertaining to the Italian colonial wars and World War II. The collection, established thanks to public donations or donations from local associations and individuals, includes weapons, uniforms, artwork, photographs, memorabilia, posters, objects of daily use in the trenches, honors, letters and diaries.

The museum is coordinator of the Trentino Great War Network.

The Rosmini Fountain is a monument in Rovereto, dedicated to the philosopher Antonio Rosmini, who was born in the City of the Oak in 1797.

It is circular, positioned in the center of Piazza Rosmini, where it was placed in 1895 to replace the statue of the philosopher that was placed in front of his birthplace halfway down Corso Rosmini. Maintained by the Beautification Society and the municipality of Rovereto, it has a central jet three meters high and peripheral jets that create water features. It is fed by the city aqueduct.
