Sierra de Orihuela
Mountain range in Spain. Sierra de Orihuela is a 9.4 km long mountain range in the Vega Baja del Segura comarca, Valencian Community, Spain. Its highest point is Peña de Orihuela. This range is named after the town of Orihuela, located at the feet of the mountains. The western end of the range is within the limits of the Santomera municipal term, in the Region of Murcia.
These conspicuous limestone mountains rise abruptly from the low Segura River Valley floor and have some very steep cliffs popular with rock climbers, like "La Pared Negra". There is very little vegetation on the arid mountain slopes and both physically and geologically the Sierra de Orihuela is similar to the Sierra de Callosa range located only 2.6 km to the east. Smoother Sierra de Hurchillo is located 4.8 km to the south[2]

Seminario Diocesano de San Miguel
The Diocesan Seminary of San Miguel was built in the 18th century, in response to the provisions of the 16th century Council of Trent for the proper training of priests and ministers of Catholic worship.
The seminary building was built during the first half of the 18th century at the request of the bishop of Orihuela Juan Elías Gómez de Terán on the esplanade of the San Miguel hill as a seminary of the diocese of Orihuela. In the same place a place of prayer was built since the 16th century. The seminary was founded under the name of Seminario Conciliar de la Inmaculada Concepción y el Príncipe San Miguel, nowadays changed to Seminario Diocesano de San Miguel de Orihuela.

University of Orihuela
Also known as: Universidad de Orihuela
University in Orihuela, Spain. The University of Orihuela was located at the Convent of Santo Domingo, in Orihuela. It was the second university in the ancient Kingdom of Valencia, founded 40 years after the University of Valencia. The official name of the institution was Pontificia y Real Universidad de Orihuela. The aforementioned university was governed by the Order of the Preachers who had their convent inside it.
Its building is currently occupied by the Diocesan School of Santo Domingo.[3]
