Santuario di Nostra Signora di Soviore
The sanctuary of Our Lady of Soviore is a place of Catholic worship located in the municipality of Monterosso al Mare, along provincial road 38, in the province of La Spezia. The religious building is located within the Cinque Terre National Park along the slopes of Mount Soviore among woods and terraced fields near the carriage road between the municipalities of Monterosso al Mare and Levanto. The church is the seat of the parish of the same name in the Riviera vicariate of the La Spezia-Sarzana-Brugnato diocese, of which Our Lady of Soviore has been the patron saint since May 11, 1974. The main feasts fall on August 15 and the Sunday after September 8.
The shrine is part, along with the shrine of Our Lady of Montenero in Riomaggiore, the shrine of Our Lady of Health in Volastra, and the shrines of Our Lady of Graces and Our Lady of Reggio in Vernazza, of the "Cinque Terre Sanctuaries."
