Museum in Sea Girt, New Jersey. The National Guard Militia Museum of New Jersey is headquartered in Sea Girt, with a second museum located in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and operates under the auspices of the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.

The not-for-profit museum's purpose is to preserve and explain New Jersey's military heritage, by collecting, preserving and displaying artifacts with specific relevance and historical significance to the New Jersey Army National Guard, the New Jersey Air National Guard and the New Jersey Naval Militia. It is a member of the Army Museum System.[2]

Township in New Jersey. Sea Girt is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 1,828, reflecting a decline of 320 from the 2,148 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 49 from the 2,099 counted in the 1990 Census.

Sea Girt was formed as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 29, 1917, from portions of Wall Township, based on the results of a referendum held on May 1, 1917. The borough was named for the estate of Comm. Robert F. Stockton, who had purchased a property in the area in 1853.

In the Forbes magazine 2012 rankings of "America's Most Expensive ZIP Codes", the borough was ranked 197th, with a median price of $1,135,184.[3]

Church in Sea Girt, New Jersey. St. Uriel's Episcopal Church, also known as Church of St. Uriel the Archangel, or simply St. Uriel's, is an Anglo-Catholic Episcopal church in Sea Girt, New Jersey. The church is an operating member of the Anglican Communion, and adheres to the Catholic and Orthodox traditions of Anglicanism. A history of the church by James B. Simpson entitled Regent of the Sun was published in 1988, on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of its founding.

The parish banner was made by the Sisters of Bethany and dedicated at the church in 1958. Until that year, the church in Sea Girt was the only Anglican house of worship dedicated to the Archangel Uriel. It remains the only Episcopal church in the United States named after Saint Uriel the Archangel.[4]
