Long Beach Holocaust Memorial Monument
The Long Beach Holocaust Memorial Monument is a public Holocaust memorial situated in Kennedy Plaza at the Long Beach City Hall W. Park Ave between Center St. and National Blvd.
The Monument was dedicated June 7, 1987, by the Holocaust Memorial Committee as a memorial to the six million Jews who were victims of Nazi persecution and the non-Jews who tried to save them.[1]
Far Rockaway Skate Park
Skateboard park in Queens, New York. Far Rockaway Skate Park is a public skate park on the Rockaway Beach and Boardwalk in Far Rockaway, Queens, New York City, opened in 2011. The park is open dawn till dusk and is unsupervised. In addition to skateboarding, scooters and inline skates are permitted. The park was built over a large parking lot that was reduced in size but not eliminated. The skatepark project was part of a larger renovation of O'Donohue Park that began in 2010 and was completed in 2011. The park was designed by SITE Design Group and built by California Skateparks.[2]

It features a large stucco colonnaded wraparound porch supported by eight thick columns. Also on the property is a contributing early 20th century garage. It has housed the Long Beach Historical Museum since 1997.

It is a 2+1⁄2-story, Georgian-style frame dwelling, with a T-shaped frame wing. It is five bays wide, with a central portico shielding the main entry. During the early 1950s the town of Hempstead restored Rock Hall to its 18th-century appearance.

It is a one-story, symmetrically massed building faced with red brick in the Colonial Revival style. It features a central five bay wide section with a gable roof, flanked by single bay end pavilions with gable roofs perpendicular to the central section. The lobby features a Treasury Section of Fine Arts mural by Jon Corbino titled The Pleasures of the Bathing Beach.
