Babylon Town Hall
Babylon Town Hall, also known as Town of Babylon Old Town Hall, is a historic town hall located at Babylon in Suffolk County, New York. It was built in 1917 and is a 2+1⁄2-story Classical Revival style building with a low hipped roof. It is rectangular in shape, approximately 58 feet long and 54 feet wide. It features a cupola at the center of the roof and a large 2-story portico with four Doric order columns. It housed town offices until 1958, and housed district courts until 1979, when it was sold. Old Town Hall was purchased back by the town in June 2004 and rededicated on Sunday, October 24, 2004.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. A historical marker was erected by the Town of Babylon in 1986.[1]

Long Island National Cemetery
Cemetery. Long Island National Cemetery is a United States National Cemetery located in Suffolk County, New York. It is surrounded by a group of other separate cemeteries and memorial parks situated along Wellwood Avenue – these include Pinelawn Memorial Park, St. Charles / Resurrection, Beth Moses, New Montefiore and Mt. Ararat Cemeteries. Its mailing address is Farmingdale. It borders East Farmingdale along its western edge and is located within the CDPS of Wyandanch, in the Town of Babylon, and Melville in the Town of Huntington. Administered by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, it encompasses 364.7 acres, and as of 2021, had more than 357,000 interments.
In 2016 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.[2]

Lindenhurst Memorial Library
Public library in Lindenhurst, New York. The Lindenhurst Memorial Library is located in Lindenhurst, New York, and is one of the fifty-six libraries that are part of the Suffolk Cooperative Library System. Two different buildings have housed the library since July 1, 1953. The library's current building was designed and erected by local architects.[3]

Oak Beach
Town. Oak Beach is a small community and census-designated place located near the eastern end of Jones Beach Island, a barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and the Great South Bay of Long Island. The community is part of the village of Babylon in Suffolk County, New York, United States. The eastern part, the Oak Island Beach Association, is gated, whereas the western part is not. The Oak Beach CDP was first listed prior to the 2020 census. Prior to that the community was part of the Oak Beach–Captree census-designated place.[4]
Fire Island Inlet Bridge
Tied-arch bridge in Suffolk County, New York. The Fire Island Inlet Bridge, an integral part of the Robert Moses Causeway, is a two-lane, steel tied arch span with a concrete deck that carries the parkway over Fire Island Inlet.
Construction of the Fire Island Bridge was completed in 1964 and although a relatively young structure, (less than 50 years old), its concrete deck has suffered from severe chloride ingress resulting in cracks, spalling, and the formation of potholes.
The Fire Island Inlet span of the Robert Moses Causeway connects to Robert Moses State Park on the western tip of Fire Island.
The Fire Island Inlet Bridge is located south of the State Boat Channel Bridge, a 665-foot (203 m) long bascule bridge modeled after Brooklyn's Mill Basin Drawbridge.[5]
Cedar Beach

Access to the beach is via the Ocean Parkway. Parking is available during the week for residents with parking permits. You may also pay the daily $20 fee ($30 on weekends).
Cedar beach features a marina, many children's parks, a trailer park, a fish museum, camps in the summer, children's activities, various entertainment, an annual summer fair, a volleyball league, shuttle service down to the ocean, and a snack shop.[6]
Great South Bay Bridge

It connects the Robert Moses Causeway from Long Island's mainland over the Great South Bay, connecting to Captree and Jones Beach islands. It serves as access via the Robert Moses Causeway to both of the downstream crossings, the State Boat Channel Bridge and the Fire Island Inlet Bridge, also leading visitors and on-lookers to either the Fire Island Lighthouse or the Robert Moses State Park.[7]

It crosses over the Long Island New York State Boat Channel connecting Captree Island and Jones Beach Island on Robert Moses Causeway in the Oak Beach–Captree area within the town of Babylon.
The 665-foot-long (203 m) bascule bridge meets the Ocean Parkway at a cloverleaf interchange. This interchange, which provides access to Captree State Park, Gilgo State Park and Jones Beach State Park, served as the southern terminus of the Robert Moses Causeway that leads to the Fire Island Inlet Bridge, the Fire Island Lighthouse, and Robert Moses State Park.[8]

Robert Moses State Park
State park in Fire Island, New York. Robert Moses State Park - Long Island is a 875-acre state park in southern Suffolk County, New York. The park lies on the western end of Fire Island, one of the central barrier islands off the southern coast of Long Island, and is known for its five-mile stretch of beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. The park is accessible from Long Island by the Robert Moses Causeway across Great South Bay.
Established as Fire Island State Park in 1908, the park is the oldest state park on Long Island. Its current name was given to honor Robert Moses, the influential mid-20th century urban planner and former president of the Long Island State Park Commission. Recently, lawmakers have suggested the park should revert to its previous name or to something that better reflects its location.[9]
