Restaurant in North Corbin, Kentucky. The Harland Sanders Café is a historic restaurant located in Corbin, Kentucky. Colonel Harland Sanders, the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken, operated the restaurant from 1940 to 1956. Sanders also developed the famous KFC secret recipe at the café during the 1940s. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 7, 1990.[1]

The East Main Street Bridge in Corbin, Kentucky, spanning Lynn Camp Creek between Knox County, Kentucky and Whitley County, Kentucky, was built in 1890. Also known as the Engineers Street Bridge, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

It is a Pratt truss through truss bridge built by the Louisville Bridge Co. It brings Engineers St. (formerly E. Main St.) across Lynn Camp Creek in Corbin.

It was an old bridge of the L & N railroad which was offered to the city in 1902; the donated bridge and was moved into place in 1905.[2]

It is a five-bay two-story building with a stepped brick parapet.

It has also served as the WYGO radio station.[3]

Christian church in Corbin, Kentucky. The First Christian Church in Corbin, Kentucky is a historic church at S. Kentucky and W. First Street. It was built in 1925 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Its building is a two-story (20 foot) brick Classical Revival-style building with brick laid in Flemish bond, with brick pilasters and a two-story pedimented portico.[4]
