The church of San Miniato in Marcianella is located in the village of the same name near Marciana, in the municipality of Cascina.

Documented as early as 1011, the small church, dedicated to San Miniato, is built entirely of regular verrucano drafts; simple single-lancet windows open along the sides, while the slender bell gable soars on the façade.

Inside the church's single hall interior is a characteristic Holy Water stack resting on a granite column.

On the altar is a 16th-century painting of the Madonna between St. Miniato and St. John (or St. Magdalene), executed between 1565 and 1580 and signed by the Flemish Giulio di Giovan Pietro Molinginato, an artist active in Pisa and the countryside.
