Winnemucca Main Post Office

Building in Winnemucca, Nevada. The Winnemucca Main Post Office, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as US Post Office—Winnemucca Main, is located at 4th and Melarkey Sts. in Winnemucca, Nevada and was built in 1921; it includes Classical Revival architecture and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Although built from standardized plans, it was deemed significant as "a good example of a small town single-purpose post office", and it is in fact the oldest Federal building in Nevada (a Federal building in Reno was built earlier, but was replaced). The building was extended and remodeled in 1940, and then gained a mural, one of three New Deal arts program murals in post offices in the state.

The building is currently used as the Winnemucca City Hall.[1]

Record House, also known as Roberts House, located at 146 W. 2nd St. in Winnemucca, Nevada, United States, was built in 1874 in a vernacular Gothic Revival style. It has a gingerbread vergeboard. It was expanded in 1879 and additionally modified during 1886–1899. It is named for its first owner, W.C. Record, who was a businessman in lumber and building.

The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.[2]

Courthouse in Winnemucca, Nevada. The Humboldt County Courthouse is a courthouse in Winnemucca, Nevada, the county seat of Humboldt County, Nevada, which was completed in 1921. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 19, 1983.

It was designed in Classical Revival style by architect Fredrick J. De Longchamps. It has a monumental pedimented portico with Corinthian columns, and it has an entablature which runs all the way around the building.

The building was deemed "significant to the city of Winnemucca and Humboldt County as an outstanding example among the numerous public buildings designed by Frederick J. DeLongchamps, Nevada's most notable historical architect."[3]

Bridge in Winnemucca, Nevada. The Humboldt River Bridge is a concrete arch bridge across the Humboldt River in Winnemucca, Nevada, United States, that was built in 1910. It is 130 feet long and was the first reinforced concrete archdeck bridge built in the county. It is significant as one of the last pair of such bridges surviving in Nevada, and also for association with economic expansion of Winnemucca in the early 20th century.

It was designed by engineer George S. Nickerson.

The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.[4]
