Brookside Gardens
Botanical garden in Montgomery County, Maryland. The Brookside Gardens are public gardens located within Wheaton Regional Park, at 1800 Glenallan Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland. The gardens themselves are open daily without charge. However, certain annual events there are held that may charge a fee. The gardens hosts a "Garden of Lights" exhibit that features a light display during the holiday season.[1]

Wheaton Regional Park
Park in Montgomery County, Maryland. Wheaton Regional Park is a public park and county-designated protected area, located in Wheaton, Maryland. It is operated and managed by Montgomery County Parks, a division of a bi-county agency, Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, which serves both Montgomery and Prince George's counties in the Washington, D.C. suburbs of the state of Maryland. The park was established in 1960, incorporating several large parcels of land into one of the county's largest parks, at the size of 538.7 acres.[2]

Glenmont is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Montgomery County, Maryland, United States. The United States Census Bureau had combined Glenmont with nearby Wheaton to create the census-designated place of Wheaton-Glenmont, from 2000 to 2010. It had a population of 16,710 in 2020.[3]
Wheaton Youth Center
Public library in Montgomery County, Maryland. The Wheaton Youth Center, also known as the Wheaton Community Recreation Center, was a building located on Georgia Avenue in Wheaton, Maryland. The space was operated by the Montgomery County Department of Recreation.
The Wheaton Youth Center opened in December 1963 and for the following decade was one of the premiere locations for the emerging suburban Maryland concert scene. Concerts at the Wheaton Youth Center were held in the gymnasium, which was located across from the Wheaton Library.[4]

Hammond Wood Historic District
The Hammond Wood Historic District is a national historic district located at Silver Spring, Montgomery County, Maryland. It consists of 58 Contemporary single-family houses, built between 1949 and 1951, nestled in a tract of heavily wooded, rolling land. It is an intact, architecturally cohesive example of Charles Goodman's merchant builder subdivisions in Montgomery County.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.[5]
