Grover Museum
Museum in Shelbyville, Indiana. The Grover Museum, formally known as the Louis H. and Lena Firn Grover Museum, is a local history museum located in Shelbyville, Indiana, USA, and is operated by the Shelby County Historical Society, whose headquarters are located in the building. The museum has three rotating galleries and three permanent galleries, which are used to display artifacts that are historically significant to Shelby County, Indiana.
The Shelby County Historical Society took over the building, which was previously the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge No. 457, in 1980 and opened the museum in 1981.[1]

Porter Pool Bathhouse
Porter Pool Bathhouse is a historic bathhouse located at Shelbyville, Shelby County, Indiana. It was built in 1930, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, rectangular, Art Deco style brick building.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
Upon closure of Porter Pool, the property and building has since been repurposed as the Shelby County Tourism and Visitors Bureau Welcome Center and the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce.[2]
Shelby County Courthouse
Courthouse. Shelby County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at Shelbyville, Shelby County, Indiana. It was built in 1936–1937, and is a two- to three-story, rectangular, Art Deco style limestone building. The building features a recessed five bay central section with two-story, fluted Doric order pilasters and bas relief panels. Also on the property is a contributing 1931 statue of an American Civil War soldier. The building's construction was funded in part by the Public Works Administration.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.[3]
John Hamilton House
John Hamilton House, also known as the Hamilton House, is a historic home located at Shelbyville, Shelby County, Indiana. It was built in 1853, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, rectangular, Italianate style brick dwelling. It has a slate roof and sits on a limestone block foundation. The front facade features segmental arched windows, and two two-story projecting polygonal bays flanking a semi-circular one-story porch supported by Doric order columns added about 1910.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It is located in the West Side Historic District.[4]

Shelbyville Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Shelbyville, Shelby County, Indiana. The district encompasses 149 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, and 2 contributing objects in the central business district of Shelbyville. It developed between about 1822 and the 1930s, and includes notable examples of Italianate, Second Empire, Beaux-Arts, Classical Revival, and Art Deco style architecture. Notable contributing resources include the Shelbyville Central Schools Administrative Offices, Carnegie Library, First Baptist Church, St. Joseph Catholic Church and School, Civic Center, Melton Jewelry Store, Blessing-Deprez Building, Knights of Pythias, Cherry Building, I.O.O.F. Building, Old High School Building, and a statue of Charles Major.

West Side Historic District
West Side Historic District is a national historic district located at Shelbyville, Shelby County, Indiana. The district encompasses 373 contributing buildings and 4 contributing structures in a predominantly residential section of Shelbyville. It developed between about 1853 and the 1939, and includes notable examples of Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, and Stick Style / Eastlake movement style architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed John Hamilton House. Other notable buildings include the Peter Metzger House, Joseph Acre House, Earl Karmire House, Charles Davis House, Charles Birely House, Harry Whitcomb House, First Christian Church, C.H. Campbell House, George McConnell House, First Presbyterian Church, John Randall House, Alfred Major House, Frank C Sheldon House, and Edward Thurston House.
