Freilichtmuseum Klockenhagen
The open-air museum Klockenhagen is located in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen, and specifically in the Ribnitz-Damgarten district of Klockenhagen between Ribnitz and Graal-Müritz. The museum represents a six-hectare "village within a village". The aim of the museum is to make life in Mecklenburg and pre-Pomeranian villages of the last three centuries visible and tangible. To this end, historic buildings in 18 villages in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania were dismantled and rebuilt and restored here. There are show and exhibition rooms in the buildings, gardens have been laid out and domestic animals are kept.
