Art-filled palace in a scenic setting. Rheinsberg Palace lies in the municipality of Rheinsberg, about 100 kilometres northwest of Berlin in the German district of Ostprignitz-Ruppin.
The palace on the eastern shore of the Grienericksee is a classic example of the so-called Frederician Rococo architecture style and served as a basis for Sanssouci Palace.[1]

The Kurt Tucholsky Literature Museum in Rheinsberg Castle is dedicated to the life and work of Kurt Tucholsky.
The museum's holdings include first editions, contemporary literature, and personal documents by Tucholsky, as well as Siegfried Jacobsohn and Carl von Ossietzky.
The exhibition features letters, autographs, programs, journals, documents, photographs and books, personal items, his desk and the poet's death mask. The museum also offers changing art and literary exhibitions and literary readings. It initiated and has been in charge of the literary scholarship "Stadtschreiber zu Rheinsberg" since 1995. AnniKa von Trier was hired as town writer in 2021.
Germanist and literary scholar Peter Böthig has been the museum's director since 1993.
