Temple in Ikoma, Japan. Hōzan-ji is a Buddhist temple in Monzen-machi, Ikoma, Nara, Japan.
Though officially dedicated to the deity Acala (Fudō Myōō), the temple serves as a cult-center of the deity Kangiten (Shoten) and is also called 'Ikoma-Shōten' (生駒聖天).[1]

Mount Ikoma is a part of Kongō-Ikoma-Kisen Quasi-National Park. It is one of the most famous picnic spots in the Kansai region. On the top of the mountain, there are many TV towers for broadcasting to the Kansai region and Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park.[2]

Chogyumi-ji Temple is a temple of the Shingon Ritsu sect in Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture. The name of the mountain is Mayumiyama. The main deity is the eleven-faced Kannon (Goddess of Mercy). The temple was founded by Gyoki. The main hall, a national treasure, is known as a representative example of an esoteric Buddhist temple of the Kamakura period.
