The Center presents contemporary visual and performing arts shows and includes an adjacent art school and the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center at 1770 Monroe Street.[1]

State park in Hollywood, Florida. Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park is a Florida State Park located in Dania Beach, Florida off Florida State Road A1A. The park is named for late civil rights activists Von Mizell and Eula Johnson, who first pressured Broward County to have at least one beach for African Americans, then led wade-ins in Ft. Lauderdale in 1961 that led to desegregation of the county's beaches the following year. The park's former namesake, John U. Lloyd, served as Broward County Attorney for over 30 years and was instrumental in obtaining the land for the park.[2]

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, also known as The Guitar Hotel due to its tower constructed to resemble two guitars, is a hotel and casino resort near Hollywood, Florida, United States, located on 100 acres of the Hollywood Reservation of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The property currently has one hotel tower, a 140,000 sq ft casino, large poker room, a 4-acre lagoon-style pool facility with a center bar and many private restaurants, shops, spa, cabanas, bars and nightclubs, and the Hard Rock Event Center. A large expansion was completed in October 2019.[3]

The Joseph Wesley Young House is a historic home in Hollywood, Florida. It is located at 1055 Hollywood Boulevard. On August 10, 1989, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Joseph Wesley Young Jr. was a founder and developer of Hollywood, Florida. He is listed as a Great Floridian.

The house is described as looking like a "Moorish castle with two-dozen rooms" and it may have a resident ghost. One of the "most venerable and storied mansions in Broward County" it was for sale in 2008.[5]

The Hollywood Garden Club, also known as the Sunday School House of First Church of Christ, Scientist, is a historic building in Hollywood, southeastern Florida. It is located at 2940 Hollywood Boulevard. It was built in 1927 and moved to its current location in 1959. In 1960, the garden club hosted the Seventh Annual Conservation Conference of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs and in subsequent years engaged in numerous civic activities, such as beautification projects and anti-litter campaigns. On February 23, 1999 the four remaining members of the garden club deeded the building to the City of Hollywood. On February 15, 2005, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.[6]
