Ward Hall
Museum in Georgetown, Kentucky. Ward Hall is a Greek Revival antebellum plantation mansion located in Georgetown, Kentucky. The main house covers 12,000 square feet, with 27-foot high Corinthian fluted columns.[1]

Confederate Monument in Georgetown
Monument in Georgetown, Kentucky. The Confederate Monument in Georgetown is within the Georgetown Cemetery of Georgetown, Kentucky. It is an unpolished granite obelisk that is twenty feet tall, surrounded by the graves of eighteen former Confederate soldiers. The various reliefs upon the obelisk include crossed cannons, crossed muskets, a drum, an azid, and flags. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 17, 1997 as part of the Civil War Monuments of Kentucky Multiple Property Submission.
The dedication of the monument took place in June 1888. The Ladies Monument Association, in association with the women of Scott County, Kentucky, was responsible for the attainment of the funds necessary to erect the monument. They had eighteen fallen Confederates, from graves around the county, reinterred around the monument, in a manner similar to other such monuments in Kentucky. Two of these were victims of Stephen G. Burbridge's Order 59, which called for the killing of four Confederate prisoners of war whenever one Union civilian was killed. The dedication was presided by Dr. John A. Lewis, with a parade preceding the dedication containing thousands from around the state of Kentucky.
Scott County had provided 1,000 troops for the Confederacy, while only providing 118 men to the Union Army.[2]
Yuko-En on the Elkhorn

Georgetown Cemetery
Cemetery in Georgetown, Kentucky. Georgetown Cemetery located in Georgetown, Kentucky, is the burial site of Barbara Ann Hackmann Taylor and Kentucky Governors; James F. Robinson and Joseph Desha, and Kentucky Confederate Governor George W. Johnson. Other famous politicians buried in the cemetery are James Campbell Cantrill, a Democratic nominee for Governor, and Lieutenant Governor James E. Cantrill and former Georgetown Mayor Charles Lenahan.
Georgetown Cemetery has a Confederate Soldier Memorial dedicated to Rebel soldiers that died during the American Civil War. Soldiers inscribed on the memorial are WM. Simons, W. Hall, J.J. Hensly, WM. Sutton, Capt. John Black, WM Tanchill, Bryan Fitzpatrick, B. C. Wootten, and WM Wood.
Other notable people buried at the cemetery are U.S. Chess Champion, Jackson Showalter and two famous artists: Will Hunleigh a landscape artist, and equine artist, Edward Troye.
It also is the burial site of a murder victim known originally as Tent Girl who was identified as Barbara Ann Hackmann Taylor in 1998.[7]

Cardome Centre
Cardome Centre is a historic property located in Georgetown, Kentucky along the north fork of Elkhorn Creek. The 87 acres is owned by the Catholic Diocese of Lexington and currently houses St. John Catholic School. Previously the property was home to several famous people including Kentucky Governor James F. Robinson. More recently the site was the location of a girl's academy. It previously served as a community center for the city of Georgetown, but was purchased by the Catholic Diocese of Lexington in 2019.[8]
