The Bismarck Tower in the town of Ettlingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is a monument to Bismarck erected in honor of Prince Otto von Bismarck, the first Chancellor of the German Empire, who was sacked in 1890.
It is located about halfway up the western slope of the mountain Wattkopf, which rises east of Ettlingen in the northern Black Forest. The tower is 17 m high and has a square ground plan (5.3 m × 5.3 m). Until the 1940s, fires were lit in the four fire bowls mounted on the tower during solstice celebrations. Today, the tower serves as a lookout tower from which a view of the Vosges and Palatinate mountains is possible on a clear day.
