Aladdin Theater
Theater in Cocoa, Florida. The Aladdin Theater is an historic theater in Cocoa, Florida, United States. It is located at 300 Brevard Avenue and originally opened its doors on August 18, 1924. On October 17, 1991, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
Brevard Community College owned the theater from 1985 to 2010. In the mid-eighties, the college had rescued the theater from a dilapidated state. In 2010 the college offered ownership to the city of Cocoa. The theater has its own board of directors.
The annual budget for 2009 was about $263,000.[1]

Astronaut Memorial Planetarium and Observatory
Art gallery in Brevard County, Florida. The Astronaut Memorial Planetarium and Observatory, or AMPO, also known as the Eastern Florida State College Planetarium and Observatory, is an astronomical observatory and planetarium at Eastern Florida State College in Cocoa, Florida. The facility consists of a planetarium, public observatory, large-screen movie theater, exhibit halls, multi-media classroom and an art gallery.
In September 2017 hurricane Irma caused minor damage to the building. It has been shut down since then. "The EFSC Planetarium and Observatory on the Cocoa Campus is closed indefinitely because of damage caused by Hurricane Irma." As noted on its homepage retrieved 2020-07-05. In April 2018 they announced an effort to raise $9M to repair and refurbish the planetarium and observatory.[2]

Historic Derby Street Chapel
Place of worship in Cocoa, Florida. The Historic Derby Street Chapel, also known as Derby Street Chapel, is a historic church building located at 121 Derby Street in Cocoa, Brevard County, Florida. Built between 1916 and 1920 as a Seventh-day Adventist church, it was sold to First Church of Christ, Scientist, Cocoa in 1955. In 1964 the Christian Science sold it to the First Baptist Church of Cocoa, which still owns it. Cocoa Mainstreet, which holds a 25-year lease on the property, renovated the building and brought it up to current handicapped access standards. It is now a venue for weddings, vow renewals, memorials and other small events.[3]

Brevard Museum of History & Natural Science
The Brevard Museum of History & Natural Science is located at 2201 Michigan Avenue, Cocoa, Florida. The museum includes a 14,750 sq/ft facility that houses artifacts from the region and a 22-acre nature preserve. The displays include a Florida timeline and rotating temporary exhibits. The museum features the remains of the "Windover Woman", the oldest human remains found on the North American continent, a re-creation of the Windover Dig, a "wet" archaeological site, and an Ice Age exhibit featuring creatures that once roamed Florida. A visitor may see how Native Americans lived and Florida pioneers survived. As of 2013, the museum had over 3,000 artifacts.
In September 2014, The Florida Historical Society became the museum's parent organization.[4]
