Museum in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. The Bahawalpur Museum, established in 1976, is a museum of archaeology, art, heritage, modern history and religion located in Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan. It comes under the control of Bahawalpur district government. The current director of the museum is Hussain Ahmed Madni.

The Bahawalpur Museum was established in 1974. It is a museum of archaeology, ethnology, art, heritage, of traditional and modern history. It is supervised by the local government of Bahawalpur district. It has eight galleries.

Palace in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. The Noor Mahal is a Pakistan Army-owned palace in Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan. It was built in 1872 like an Italian chateau on neoclassical lines, at a time when modernism had set in. It belonged to the Nawabs of Bahawalpur princely state, during British Raj.[2]

Gulzar Mahal is a palace in the city of Bahawalpur, Pakistan, that was built between 1906 and 1909. It was commissioned during the reign of Sadeq Mohammad Khan V, and was built to be the residence for women members of the royal household of the former princely state of Bahawalpur, aside from the Queen. The palace is surrounded by a large garden, and is located in the Bahawalgarh Palace Complex in close proximity to the palaces of Darbar Mahal, Farrukh Mahal, and Nishat Mahal.

The palace has been leased by the armed forces since 1966, and is currently not open to the general public.[3]

The Bahawalpur Central Library, also known as Sadiq Reading Library, is a library in Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan. The library was founded on 8 March 1924 by Sir Rufus Daniel Issacs during the coronation year of Sadeq Mohammad Khan V. costing 100,000 Rupees by Bahawalpur State and is second largest in the province of Punjab.[4]

Palace. Darbar Mahal is a palace in the city of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. The building was built to hold courtly events and government offices of the former princely state of Bahawalpur. The palace was built by Bahawal Khan V, and initially named Mubarak Mahal. It was completed in 1905, and is near several other palaces within the Bahawalgarh Palace Complex, including the Nishat Mahal, Farrukh Mahal and Gulzar Mahal. The palace sits in a 75 acre garden. The entire palace complex was leased to the armed forces beginning in 1966, and houses government and military offices. It is not open to the general public.[6]

Quaid e Azam Medical College was founded on 2 December 1971 when its foundation stone was laid by the then Governor of Punjab, Lt Gen Attique-ur-Rehman. The college is affiliated for clinical training to Bahawal Victoria Hospital & Civil Hospital Bahawalpur as well. The founding Principal was Prof Dr Nawab Muhammad Khan. Prof. Dr. Shafqat Ali Tabassum is the current principal of the college.[7]
