Famed presidential palace with tours. The Casa Rosada is the office of the President of Argentina. The palatial mansion is known officially as Casa de Gobierno. Normally, the President lives at the Quinta de Olivos, the official residence of the President of Argentina, which is located in Olivos, Greater Buenos Aires. The characteristic color of the Casa Rosada is baby pink, and is considered one of the most emblematic buildings in Buenos Aires. The building also houses a museum, which contains objects relating to former presidents of Argentina. It has been declared a National Historic Monument of Argentina.[1]

Neoclassical Catholic cathedral. The Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral is the main Catholic church in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is located in the city center, overlooking Plaza de Mayo, on the corner of San Martín and Rivadavia streets, in the San Nicolás neighbourhood. It is the mother church of the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires and the primatial church of Argentina.

The Cathedral of Buenos Aires was rebuilt several times since its humble origins in the 16th century. The present building is a mix of architectural styles, with an 18th-century nave and dome and a severe, 19th-century Neoclassical façade without towers. The interior keeps precious 18th-century statues and altarpieces, as well as abundant Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Baroque decoration.[3]

Sizable museum of fine arts since 1937. The Juan B. Castagnino Fine Arts Museum is an art museum in the city of Rosario, province of Santa Fe, Argentina, considered the most important of the interior of the country and the second in national terms. It is administered by the municipal government. The museum lies within the Parque de la Independencia immediately outside the city center, at the intersection of Oroño Boulevard and Pellegrini Avenue.

The building was a project by architects Hilarión Hernández Larguía and Juan Manuel Newton and opened in 1936. It was donated to the Municipality by Mrs. Rosa Tiscornia de Castagnino in memory of her late son Juan Bautista Castagnino, an important art critic and collector at the time, and officially inaugurated as a museum on 7 December 1937.

The museum has two floors, totalling 35 rooms with 700 linear meters available for exhibitions. The initial artistic patrimony of the museum was gathered from donations by private collectors, plus the patrimony of the former Municipal Fine Arts Museum, and then augmented by purchases by the municipality and the Museum Foundation. It now consists of more than 3,000 works, comprising European art, Argentine art of the 19th and 20th century, and works by Rosario artists until the 1930s. The contemporary art collection (about 300 works acquired in more recent times) was moved to a new museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rosario (MACRo), opened in 2004.[9]

The Cathedral of Our Lady of Nahuel Huapi Also San Carlos de Bariloche Cathedral is the main Catholic cathedral within the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, in Patagonia Argentina. It is located in large plot of land close to the Nahuel Huapi Lake, surrounded by beautiful gardens, and is within the Diocese of Bariloche, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Bahía Blanca.

For the construction of the cathedral of Bariloche, the architect Alejandro Bustillo offered his project for free. His sentiment was oriented in a Gothic Revival style with French reminiscences.

It was built between 1942 and 1944. The stained glass windows were laid in 1947.[10]

The building, 135 meters (443 feet) long, today houses 3 million fossils and relics (including 44,000 botanical items), an amphitheatre, opened in 1992, and a 58,000-volume library, serving over 400 university researchers. Around 400,000 visitors (8% of whom are from outside Argentina) pass through its doors yearly, including a thousand visiting researchers.[14]

The Cathedral of La Plata in La Plata, Argentina, dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, is the 58th tallest church in the world. This Neogothic edifice is located in the geographical center of the city, facing the central square, Plaza Moreno, and the City Hall.

Inspired by the European cathedrals of Amiens and Cologne, its plans were drawn by architect Ernesto Meyer under the direction of city planner Pedro Benoit. The cornerstone was laid in 1884, and it was consecrated as the Parroquia Nuestra Señora de los Dolores in 1902. The parish church, which continued undergoing works, was designated a cathedral in 1932.[16]

Tronador, Nahuel Huapi National Park

Massive peak with steep climbing paths. Tronador is an extinct stratovolcano in the southern Andes, located along the border between Argentina and Chile, near the Argentine city of Bariloche. The mountain was named Tronador by locals in reference to the sound of falling seracs. With an altitude of 3,470 metres, Tronador stands more than 1,000 m above nearby mountains in the Andean massif, making it a popular mountaineering destination. Located inside two national parks, Nahuel Huapi in Argentina and Vicente Pérez Rosales in Chile, Tronador hosts a total of eight glaciers, which are currently retreating due to warming of the upper troposphere.[17]

The Museum of the End of the World is a museum located in the city of Ushuaia, in the province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands, Argentine Republic.

Since May 2008, the Museum of the End of the World in the City of Ushuaia has two venues: the traditional one at 173 Maipú Avenue, between Rivadavia and Antártida Argentina; and the building of the Old Government House and Governor's Residence, on the same street, but at No. 465.

In 1983, by decree N°2706, the historical significance of the building of the former provincial legislature was recognized and it was declared a National Historical Monument.

Large lake for kayaking, fishing and hikes. Gutiérrez Lake is a lake of the lake region of northern Patagonia in the province of Río Negro, in Argentina. It is of glacial origin, being a Moraine-dammed lake. The lake is connected to Nahuel Huapi Lake. It was named by explorer and naturalist Francisco P. Moreno as an homage to his academic mentor Juan María Gutiérrez.

The lake harbors several species of trout including rainbow trout, brown trout and brook trout which attract anglers from the world over.

Despite being nowhere near any ocean and being at high altitude, the lake is also home to the kelp gull and the blue-eyed cormorant (Phalacrocorax atriceps), otherwise strictly marine birds.

The lake's clear waters are very susceptible to climate change and have an average surface temperature of 45 °F (7 °C). Hypothermia is one of the risks bathers must endure. Kayaking is a popular sport on this and adjacent lakes.

The lake is located near San Carlos de Bariloche (about 12 km), and it is a popular tourist attraction. It has several good spots for having a picnic or sunbathing.[26]

The foundations of this cathedral building date from the period of the definitive founding of the city of San Miguel de Tucuman in 1685, long remained a humble building adobes with gabled of "musleras tiles" then keeping some simple style details Hispanic American colonial baroque.

In the mid-nineteenth century it is that parts began with the plans of the architect of Basque origin and French Pierre Etcheverry, such work is what has left virtually the building with the current appearance, being developed for the provincial government of Celedonio Gutierrez and inaugurated on February 19, 1856.[27]

Lake in Argentina. Espejo Lake is a lake of glacial tectonic origin located in southern Neuquén Province, Argentina. The lake lies near the town of Villa La Angostura, on the route known as the Road of the Seven Lakes.

Its name refers to the clean and quiet waters, which reflect the landscape like a mirror. The lake is fed by numerous streams bringing snow- and ice-melt from the nearby mountains. The shore of the lake alternates between volcanic sand beaches, juncus, and rock walls.

Among the most common activities in the area are mountain biking, sport fishing, windsurfing, trekking, and BMX riding.[29]

Museo Ferroportuario Teodoro Nürnberg is a museum located in the center of the city of Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina. It consists of six exhibition rooms that show through photographs, plans, and other objects, historical aspects of the city, related to the Comodoro Rivadavia Railroad and the Antonio Morán Port. Its main objective is to show the link between the railway and the port.

The building in which it is located corresponds to the old Comodoro Rivadavia Station of the Comodoro Rivadavia Railroad. The museum is located on the top floor of the old station, and also houses the Comodoro Culture Agency and other municipal offices and the Railway Archive (since March 2004). On the 20th anniversary of its foundation, the museum was named after the historical photographer Teodoro Nürnberg. Mayor Juan Pablo Luque presided over the ceremony and valued "the decision to recognize those who left an indelible mark in the history of Comodoro".

It is located on the street Bigradier Estanislao Lopez in the city of Santa Fe, Santa Fe province, Argentina.

The building was constructed in 1573 in the old city of Santa Fe (now Cayastá). In 1651, Santa Fe was moved to its present location and the church was moved and rebuilt on its current site. It was subsequently renovated in 1833 and again in 1947, when the building’s three naves were constructed. In 1942, All Saints was declared a National Historical Monument.[31]
