Car racing track in Juneau County, Wisconsin. Dells Raceway Park, formerly known as the Dells Motor Speedway, is a car racing raceway located in the town of Lyndon, in Juneau County, north of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin just off of U.S. Route 12/Wisconsin Highway 16. It is a 1/3 mile asphalt track that is used for stock car racing. The track has hosted races featuring the ARTGO Challenge Series, the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Midwest Series, the ASA Midwest Tour, the Mid-American Stock Car Series, the Wisconsin Challenge Series, and the Must See Racing.com Xtreme Sprint Car Series. The track, which opened in 1958, sits on 38 acres of land.

The track closed during the middle of the 2006 season over a bank fraud case, but the track was purchased during the following off-season by a group of three investors led by Chicago businessman Joe Graziano, and that included one-time NASCAR driver and Dells area native Frank Kreyer. It reopened in 2007. In 2012, Graziano sold the track to Rockford, IL businessman and race car builder Wayne Lensing. Lensing divided the property and built a campground to the south of the track. The track was sold to Jerry Auby on March 26,2021

Howard Johnson, one of the original track owners, like to call the track "Home of the Biggies". The track has a reputation of being "what a short track should be." Dick Trickle described driving the track, "You drop low in the corners and then drift high on the straights. You try to make the track into the roundest oval possible."^[1]

Geographical feature. The Dells of the Wisconsin River, also called the Wisconsin Dells, is a 5-mile gorge on the Wisconsin River in south-central Wisconsin, USA. It is noted for its scenic beauty, in particular for its unique Cambrian sandstone rock formations and tributary canyons.

The cliffs, some over 100 feet high, and side canyons are closed to the public to protect sensitive ecological features. The viewing of the rock formations by water is a popular tourist attraction in the area. The nearby city of Wisconsin Dells is the center of summer tourist activity, much of it in the form of the theme parks unrelated to the river features.

The Dells of the Wisconsin River is owned by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. It was established as a State Natural Area in 1994.^[3]

Kalahari Resorts and Conventions is a water park resort chain with locations in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin; Sandusky, Ohio; Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania; and in Round Rock, Texas. Named for the Kalahari Desert in southern Africa, the resorts are heavily decorated with African animals, plants, and other African motifs.

Kalahari Resorts operates some of the largest indoor water parks in the United States. The Round Rock location's 223,000-square-foot indoor water park is the second largest in the United States, followed by the Pocono Mountains location's 220,000-square-foot water park, the 173,000-square-foot waterpark in Sandusky and the Wisconsin Dells' 125,000-square-foot park. A Fredericksburg, Virginia location was in development until 2013, when it was scrapped after problems with financing.

Conventions held at the Kalahari Resorts are typically by state and regional organizations, such as the Wisconsin Network Conference on Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias in May 2014, Ohio Holstein Convention in February 2020, and Wisconsin District Ladies Ministries Retreat in April 2021.^[4]

The Bowman House is a historic house located at 714 Broadway Street in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. The Prairie School house was built in 1904 for Abram and Alberta Bowman. The house has a Prairie School design, popular at the time due to Frank Lloyd Wright's influence; its distinctive Prairie School elements include a horizontal emphasis and a low roof with wide eaves. Abram Bowman died in 1907, and his daughters Emma and Jennie Bowman inherited the house. Jennie Bowman had the house converted to a vacation home for working women upon her death in 1934. The house remained a vacation home until 1977, when the Dells Country Historical Society converted it to a historic house museum.

The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 3, 1986.^[5]
