Stadium in Wilson, North Carolina. Fleming Stadium is a sports stadium in Wilson, North Carolina. It is primarily used for baseball and is the home of the Wilson Tobs of the Coastal Plain League. It opened in 1939 and has a capacity of 3,000 people.

The grounds are also home to the North Carolina Baseball Museum. It also has bricks with names of the donors right in front of the museum.

The stadium has been used by teams in several different minor leagues over the decades, including the Class D Coastal Plain League, the Bi-State League, and the Carolina League. The Carolina Mudcats used the ballpark as their temporary home in 1991, before opening Five County Stadium at Zebulon in mid-season.^[1]

Museum in Wilson, North Carolina. Imagination Station Science & History Museum is an interactive museum located in downtown Wilson, North Carolina at 224 Nash Street SE. It is housed in the former Wilson Federal Building which served as a post office with a federal courthouse of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina from its construction in 1928. One of the former courtrooms serves as the "Science Courtroom", a classroom used for science demonstrations and history programs.^[2]

Davis-Whitehead-Harriss House is a historic home located at Wilson, Wilson County, North Carolina. It was built in 1858, and renovated in 1872 in the Italianate style. It is a two-story, three bays wide, "T"-plan, frame dwelling, with a rear ell. It has single-shouldered, brick end chimneys with stuccoed stacks and a one-story, hipped roof front porch. Also on the property is a two-story frame carriage house built in 1925.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.^[3]

Courthouse. The Wilson County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located in Wilson, North Carolina. It was built in 1924–1925, and is a three-story, rectangular, Classical Revival style brick building. It features Corinthian order porticos in antis.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, and is located within the Wilson Central Business-Tobacco Warehouse Historic District.^[4]

The Branch Banking Company Building is a historic bank building located in Wilson, North Carolina. It was built by the Branch Banking and Trust Company in 1903, and is a two-story, rectangular, blond brick building in the Classical Revival / Renaissance Revival style. A three bay extension was built in 1934. It features reddish sandstone detailing such as the window surrounds, pediment, columns and capitals; and an overhanging pressed metal cornice. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. It is located in the Wilson Central Business-Tobacco Warehouse Historic District.

The building is now the headquarters of the Arts Council of Wilson.^[5]

The Cherry Hotel is a historic hotel building located at Wilson, Wilson County, North Carolina. It was designed by Charles Collins Benton in Beaux Arts style and built in 1917. It is a six-story, "U"-shaped brick building with approximately 200 rooms. The interior features a two-story lobby with Art Deco style lighting fixtures. The hotel closed in 1981. It was subsequently converted to apartments.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It is located in the Wilson Central Business-Tobacco Warehouse Historic District.^[6]

Moses Rountree House is a historic home located at Wilson, Wilson County, North Carolina. It was built about 1869, and is a two-story, three bays wide by two bays deep, Gothic Revival style frame house. It has a two-story rear ell. It has a steep gable roof and is sheathed in weatherboard. The house was moved in 1890 and about 1920, and was renovated in the 1930s adding Colonial Revival style design elements.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.^[7]
